MA Student at the University of Bayreuth,Thierry writes his dissertation on oral forms in African novels with a focus on Francophone Africa. He has served as Public Relations Officer for both BAYMAU 16 and 17 and is a member of MAU since its inception in 2015. As President of the MAU Bayreuth e.V, his vision is to create and strengthen ties between MAU Bayreuth e.V., institutions, companies and other associations. He is an amateur lyrical singer and a lover of volunteerism.
Cecile Diouf is the Vice President of Model African Union Bayreuth e.V. She studies African culture and society at the university of Bayreuth. She believes in human kindness and unity of Africa.
Zra is enrolled in MA SprInK (Language-Interaction-Culture) at the University of Bayreuth. He is interested in intercultural communication and journeys. Further, he has an extensive experience in volunteering work in grassroots communities in Cameroon. Besides, he has worked as German teacher in secondary schools and as a tourist guide in Cameroon for several years. He is the second Secretary of MAU.
Johanna is studying Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth. She is a current member of MAU and was elected as the 2nd Secretary of the Management Board. Together with Paula she did a trip to Tanzania and Ruanda, which became one of the most memorable journeys of her life.
Aziz is doing a Master’s degree in “Sprache-Interaktion-Kultur ” (for non-Germans: Languages-Interaction-Culture). Generally, he loves silence and relaxing, but for the association he goes into action. He is a very polite and nice person apart from business, then he is our serious Moroccan businessman.
Department of Education
Paula is currently doing her Bachelor´s degree in Philosophy & Economics. She joined the second MAU conference as a delegate and is currently a MAU member as well as the Head of Department of Education. Together with Johanna she did a trip to Tanzania and Ruanda, which became one of the most memorable journeys of her life.
Department of Culture
Marzouk is a beninese student who is currently doing his Master’s degree in Language-Interaction-Culture. He joined MAU Bayreuth this year and is the Head of Department of Culture. MAU Bayreuth benefits from his intercultural experience and studies.
