Are you ready to make your voice heard and represent a member state of the African Union during the next Model African Union conference? 🌍
As a delegate, you’ll have the chance to engage in high-level debates, negotiate with peers, and draft resolutions on critical issues in African policy making. You’ll develop valuable skills in diplomacy, public speaking, and international relations while immersing yourself in the diverse perspectives that shape the African Union. 🌍
👉 Responsibilities of a Delegate:
* Represent your assigned country and defend its policies
* Participate in committee sessions, negotiate resolutions, and collaborate with fellow delegates
* Research in-depth into political, social, and economic issues facing Africa

What are the tasks of a delegate?
What are the committees?
A delegate represents one African country that is represented by the African Union in one of the three committees and discusses different topics in the committee sessions. Please find further information on the Committees and the Committee topics here on our Website.
Please notice that you have to prepare a short position paper for the country you are representing before the conference takes place.

The following three Committees will be held in person in Bayreuth, Germany
STCs (AU) BAYMAU25 Conference:
1) Specialized Technical Committee on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration (STC – ETTIM)
2) Specialized Technical Committee on Education, Science and Technology (STC – EST)
3) Specialized Technical Committee on Gender and Women’s Empowerment (STC – GEWE)
